
UnWaste ONLINE kick-off meeting, February 2021
UnWaste project (Advancing circular economy in partner countries by development and implementation of Master programme "Waste management") partners met on February 11, 2021 online to participate in the project kick-off meeting, organized by the project coordinator.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of all partner institutions from Europe - Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) and EKA University of Applied Sciences (Latvia), from Russian Federation – TISBI University of Management, Rostov State University of Economics, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, and from the Republic of Kazakhstan - A.Baytursynov Kostanay State University, Sh.Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University, Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University.
EKA University of Applied Sciences (EKA) was represented by EKA UnWaste project Latvian team leader – EKA Vice-rector for science and international cooperation Dr. Jelena Titko.
During the meeting key project objectives were reviewed and the activity plan for the upcoming period was discussed. All partners agreed that RU and KAZ Partner Countries need sufficient counselling. This will be done through the established EU- RU/KAZ Partner Couples. During UnWaste period, EKA will mentor TISBI University of Management and A.Baytursynov Kostanay State University. Besides, EKA is specifically responsible for WP1 Task 1.6 “Content development / update of subject”.
