About the study process in 2021/2022 academic year
Dear applicants and students!
Study year 2021/2022 will start soon. We hope you have a good rest and are ready for new challenges!
We are very pleased to announce that students will be able to attend classes in person!
08/17/2021 The Cabinet of Ministers adopted amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 360 "Epidemiological safety measures to limit the spread of Covid-19 infection", according to which persons with colleges and universities may participate in the implementation and acquisition of the study program in person only with an interoperable vaccination or disease certificate. During the transition period - until October 10, 2021 - individuals may also participate in a negative Covid-19 test performed in the last 48 hours.
We draw your attention to:
- In view of new amendments, to participate in offline classes person has to be vaccinated in one of the EU countries with a European Medicines Agency (EMA) registered vaccine (AstraZeneca, Moderna, Janssen, Pfizer), or has previously been ill with COVID-19 and has received the digital EU COVID-19 certificate will need to be presented together with an identity document before each on-site lecture. Students who will not be able to present these documents will not be admitted to the classrooms.
- The library, SIC, laboratories (outside class hours) and specialized classrooms can be visited by all students, subject to epidemiological safety requirements (face masks, social distance, etc.). You are always welcome, but we invite you to consider the possibility of solving issues remotely, saving your time and taking care of the safety of yourself and the people around you.
The study process at the EKA University of Applied Sciences will be provided with separate lectures online on the EKA video collection platform.
