
Steering Board meeting in Riga
On September 12-13, 2022, within the framework of the international project 618715-EPP-1-2020-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP “UnWaste – Advancing Circular Economy in Partner Countries by Development and Implementation of Master Programme Waste Management”, EKA University of Applied Sciences hosted project partners.
Representatives of the Wismar University of Applied Sciences - Germany (prof.Gunnar Prause), the Tallinn University of Technology - Estonia (Wolfgang Dieter Gerstlberger), EKA University of Applied Sciences (prof. Jelena Titko) and the Kokshetau University named after. Sh. Ualikhanov – Kazakhstan (Anuar Kakabayev, Aigul Kurmanbayeva, Zulfiya Bayazitova) participated physically, but other project partners’ representatives joined the meeting via MS Teams.
An overall aim of the meeting was to discuss the project progress, further action plan and amendments to the UnWaste project due to the termination of partnership with Russian partners, and gain approval from all project partners before submitting these amendments to Brussels.Partners also discussed travelling issues from European Universities to Kazakh Universities and from Kazakhstan to Riga, Tallinn and Wismar. It was decided that all visits should be organised before June 2023.
