WELL BEING IN LIFE AND WELL BEING AT WORK

A comprehensive research direction on Well-Being in Life and Well-Being in Work, encompassing holistic approaches to personal and professional fulfilment, factors contributing to enhanced quality of life, workplace well-being initiatives, mental health advocacy, work-life balance strategies, and the intricate interplay between well-being and productivity and success.

The main focus is on research related to SDG3 “Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and to EU Strategic Framework on Health and Safety at Work 2021-2027.


RESEARCH TEAM:

Research coordinator: Jelena Budanceva (MBA, PhD candidate), Researcher, Assistant Professor, Director of the study programmes “International cultural project management“ (Master level), “Culture management” (Bachelor level) and “Events organization” (College); Researcher  EKA University of Applied Sciences (Latvia). Now completing PhD in the field of BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, working on the topic of Leader`s burn-out.

Jelena BudancevaActive culture manager, working in literature and art fields for more than 20 years. Author of many webinars and seminars on burn-out, happiness concepts, and mindfulness. Member of EUMMAS (European Marketing and Management Association), of the mindfulness project SPACE BAGEL and global nonprofit network The Good Future Project.

Graduated from University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Gorlitz (Germany) and Baltic International Academy (Latvia).

Scientific interests focused primarily on well-being aspects in work and studies, as well as on consumption society and its sociological aspects and culture management. Author of several studies and articles.
