digLAB will allow to test student-generated games and virtual reality projects
digLAB was officially opened on March 30, 2019 at the EKA University of Applied Sciences. The laboratory is designed for the development and testing of games so that students of study programme "Computer Games Design and Graphics" could perform their practical work.
The Laboratory has four workspaces: two for work on Mac and two for Windows computers - all adapted for high-powered games and virtual reality projects testing. The equipment also includes seven Android and iOS smart devices for mobile games development and testing, as well as Oculus Rift equipment.
Widescreen TV and audio system are also available. The laboratory is equipped with all the necessary software for exporting games to Android and iOS devices. Its arrangement is designed to adapt to the work at a game development studio already during the studies.
