What will you learn?
- Marketing basics and principles: You will gain an understanding of marketing concepts, principles, and management methods.
- Digital marketing course: You will learn about the possibilities of digital marketing and how it can help achieve business goals, as well as apply the course material in practical seminars.
- Workshops: The program is based on a workshop approach, where students will work with industry professionals to solve practical tasks and develop skills in developing marketing solutions.
- Consumer behaviour and market research: You will understand consumer behaviour in the market and learn the basics of sociology to conduct effective market research.
- Communication skills: You will develop skills in visual communication, public speaking and presentation, as well as communication psychology.
- Marketing planning and branding: You will learn the basics of marketing planning and the principles of branding to create strong brands.
What will you do?
- Analyse and apply marketing strategies: Develop marketing plans and apply them in real-life situations.
- Create digital content: Apply digital marketing tools such as SEO, SEA, and content marketing.
- Conduct market research: Use various methods, information and communication technologies to obtain and analyse the current market situation.
- Work in a team and independently: Develop the ability to organize your work and collaborate in a team to achieve marketing goals.
Where can you do your internship?
The program offers internship opportunities in various organizations, such as enterprises, marketing agencies, advertising agencies, and other related structures. In addition, you will have the opportunity to gain international experience by participating in ERASMUS+ programs and going on an internship abroad, for which you will receive a scholarship.

Where to Work?
Graduates of the EKA University of Applied Sciences (EKA) are able to sustain the highest level of competition in labour markets in Latvia and the European Union. Our graduates successfully take manager positions in the sphere of finance, economics, accounting, solve analytical and management problems.
On completing the EKA study programmes, our students find a job in the sphere of manufacturing, in service and trade sectors, tourism companies, banks, insurance and auditing companies, state and municipal institutions, companies and organizations, joint enterprises, braches of foreign companies etc.
Where to Continue Studies/International Studies:
After graduating from the EKA students are able to continue studies at Master degree programmes in Latvia and other countries. That is possible due to international students exchange projects.
The EKA has concluded ERASMUS cooperation agreements with higher educational institutions in France, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Germany, and Hungary. Every year list of the EKA University of Applied Sciences partners is expanded with new partners. Every year students and lecturers participate in exchange programmes.
The EKA University of Applied Sciences is a member of the Baltic University Programme that unites 160 universities in 14 countries of the Baltic Sea region.
