BENEFIT TRAINING WEEK IN RIGA, LATVIA

June 24, 2024 – June 28, 2024

The BENEFIT Training Week was organized at EKA University of Applied Sciences (EKA) in Riga, Latvia, from June 24 to June 28, 2024, by EKA in collaboration with the North Macedonian project partners. The participants of the training week included academic staff from the BENEFIT project partner institutions from North Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Latvia. The training was conducted by the project members – Asoc. Prof. Mijalche Santa (Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, North Macedonia) and Asoc. Prof. Kristine Uzule (EKA, Latvia).

The aim of the training week was to introduce the academic staff of the partner institutions to the output of Work Package 4 (WP4), which is the new course BLINC (Blended Learning Inclusive Model). The BLINC course includes modules on the blended learning concept and its application in academic contexts, tools and technologies for blended learning, and the design of a blended learning environment.

Additionally, the participants discussed the quality of the Work Package 3 (WP3) output - a new inclusivity e-tool for higher education, which was designed to provide information on e-technologies that can facilitate the academic progress of students with various special needs.

The final stage of the project is an online dissemination event, scheduled to be held in Skopje, North Macedonia, on August 30, 2024.

BENEFIT is financed and supported by the European Commission, Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 – Cooperation partnerships in higher education (grant agreement No. 2022-1-MK01-KA220-HED-000087530).
