The EKA participates in "InVent" partner meeting in Malaga
Partner meeting of Erasmus+ strategic partnerships program′s project InVent (“Partnership to develop VET educators in event management with learner-centred approach” was held in the middle of April in the city of Malaga, Spain, The University of Economics and Culture(EKA) was represented by Kaspars Šteinbergs and Kristīne Freiberga. Latvia was also represented by Rita Kaipšteina, graduate of the EKA “Cultural Management” study program and project management officer at the Association of Latvian Culture Centres.
During the meeting, all the project partners presented the project results for the event industry, professional training, labour market needs, and development opportunities. Partners had the chance to compare different situations in Spain, the UK, Germany, and Slovenia. The project partners are currently preparing the final report and training and methodical materials to organize training activities for teachers in the sector at the end of October. The next partner meeting is taking place this year in the second half of September at the University of Economics and Culture.
