RESEARCH DEPARTMENT
The Research Department of EKA University of Applied Sciences is an administrative unit dealing with the coordination, monitoring and support of research activities under the direct jurisdiction of the Vice-Rector for Science. The goal of the Research Department is to effectively ensure the implementation of the Development Strategy for Science and Creative Activity of the EKA University of Applied Sciences.

Research Institution
The research institution “SIA EKONOMIKAS UN KULTURAS AUGSTSKOLA” (RI EKA) was founded on June 6, 2022 by the Board of the EKA University of Applied Sciences. It was registered in the Register of scientific institutions on July 5, 2022 (The decision of the State Education Quality Service of the Republic of Latvia No. 2-14e/6; Registration No. 434192).
The head of the RI EKA is Professor Jelena Titko, the Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation at EKA.
