EKA University of Applied Sciences (Ekonomikas un kultūras augstskola) is a partner in BENEFIT project
EKA University of Applied Sciences (EKA) signed the agreement regarding the implementation of the International project “Blended Learning and Evaluation Practices for Inclusive Digital Higher Education” (BENEFIT).
Project coordinator: Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (North Macedonia)

- Asociacia na prepodavatelite po ikonomika i upravlenie v industriata (Bulgaria),
- University of Peloponnese (Greece),
- EKA University of Applied Sciences - EKA (Latvia).
The BENEFIT project’s main objective is expanding the quality and efficiency of education provided by HEIs, by further building on the Erasmus+ project "EMBED - European Maturity Model for Blended Education". Such activities set the foundation for inclusive blended learning and teaching methods as modernized and dynamic models for the HEIs. By doing so, HEIs are adequately transforming to the needs of modern era, by promoting better student experiences, greater personalisation and significantly higher efficiency. Furthermore, the need for implementation of the blended learning concept is also noted by the European Commission through the “Digital Educational Plan 2021-2027” as its potential benefit are immense.
