E-LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES AND MANAGEMENT

The research group “E-learning Technologies and Management” focuses on the development, implementation, and optimization of digital learning platforms and management systems to enhance educational accessibility, efficiency, and engagement.

This group explores the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and interactive tools to create personalized, adaptive learning environments. Key areas of study include the effectiveness of e-learning systems, digital pedagogy, and the management of online education programs. The research aims to address challenges in the digital transformation of education and provide innovative solutions for learners, educators, and institutions globally. Through cutting-edge projects, the group seeks to advance the quality and inclusivity of digital education.

This research direction is closely aligned with SDG 4 “Quality Education”, it also supports SDG 9  “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure”.
  

RESEARCH TEAM

Research coordinator: Dr. Jelena Titko, Professor, Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation, EKA University of Applied Sciences; Researcher, The Institute of Economics, Latvian Academy of Sciences; Deputy Chairperson of the Association of Latvian Economists (Latvia).

Jeļena TitkoJ. Titko is an expert of the Latvian Council of Science in the field of Economics and Entrepreneurship and Education management; expert of the Lithuanian Research Council; the author of more than 70 scientific papers in the field of economics, business, management and education;  Member of the Scientific committee of the European Marketing and Management Association (EUMMAS).

She is an Editor-in-Chief of the journal “Economics and Culture” and a member of a scientific board of the journals "Business, Management and Economics Engineering", “Marketing and Management of Innovations”, “Scientia et Societas”, “Socio-Economic and Humanities Studies”, “SocioEconomic Challenges”, and “Business Ethics and Leadership”.
