The meeting looks back on the achievements of the GREENENTRE4DEAF project and outlines the next steps
On June 10, 2025, the Latvian team meeting of the GREENENTRE4DEAF project took place online, during which its participants were introduced to the progress of the project implementation and further activities.
Kaspars Šteinbergs, project manager of the EKA Scientific Institution, provided detailed information on what has been achieved so far, including the active involvement of the Latvian team - a developed website, a mapping tool, information materials and video interviews.
Researchers have also conducted a study on higher education institutions providing study programmes for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. The meeting participants also received an introduction to the activities conducted by other project partners.
During the meeting, the next steps in the implementation of GREENENTRE4DEAF were outlined - focus groups with several target groups of the project and the development of a special application. In conclusion, the participants made proposals for better communication with deaf people during the implementation of GREENENTRE4DEAF.
