Business Administration and Marketing students visit SIA SILJA and the Business Embassy

In April, Business Administration and Marketing students, together with Program Director Inga Shina, visited the company SIA SILJA and the Business Embassy in Marupe.

The owner Silva Jeromanova-Maura, introduced the students to the company’s operations, providing a detailed insight into the establishment of SIA SILJA, its areas of activity, and everyday challenges. Students had the opportunity to tour the company, become familiar with the specifics of different departments, understand their collaboration, and see their importance in achieving the company’s overall goals. In addition, students visited the entrepreneurship support center and event venue “Business Embassy,” which is a unique project in Latvia, as it has been created entirely from private funds.

This visit was especially valuable for the students, as it allowed them to experience a real business environment, receive practical advice from experienced professionals, and understand how theoretical knowledge is applied in everyday business processes.

Moreover, students were able to ask questions directly and gain inspiring insights into career opportunities in marketing and business management, helping them better prepare for future professional challenges.
