On May 14, students of the Business Economics and Marketing study programmes at EKA University of Applied Sciences attended a guest lecture by Erlands Krongorns, Leading Economist at Latvijas Banka.
The lecture, titled “Global Uncertainty: What Is It, Where Do We See It, and What Does It Mean for the Economy?”, was organised as part of the initiative in which leading economists and experts from Latvijas Banka visit universities in Riga and regional higher education institutions across Latvia to deliver guest lectures on current economic and financial policy topics.
During the lecture, students gained insights into the nature of global uncertainty, its impact on economies and businesses, and the key economic challenges shaping today’s international environment. The discussion encouraged students to think critically about current global economic developments and their implications for the future.
We sincerely thank Erlands Krongorns and Latvijas Banka for the valuable lecture, inspiring discussion, and contribution to students’ academic and professional development.
