Procedures for the students transfer for the next year
Information about tuition fee for repeating year
In compliance with Article 8 of the REGULATION ON THE TUITION FEES AT THE EKA UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES from June 25, 2019:
In case the Rector does not transfer the student to the next year due to academic debts, the student may repeat the previous year by paying 50% of the full tuition fee of the respective academic year, with a condition that the tuition fee for the previous year has been fully settled and the student has no other financial debts to EKA.
International students may use this possibility only once during their study period.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR RESEARCH AND ARTISTIC CREATION
According to Article 5.7. point of the Regulation of Research and Artistic Creativity of the EKA University of Applied Sciences, EKA students are provided with financial support in the following cost categories:
- costs of publishing scientific articles;
- costs for participation in conferences;
- costs for participation in exhibitions;
- other costs for ensuring the activity of research and artistic creativity agreed with the vice-rector of sciences.
The student himself, student team, lecturer or program director can apply for funding by filling out the application addressed to the vice-rector for sciences of the EKA and sending it to the electronic address jelena.titko@eka.edu.lv.
