MEMBERSHIP: ENAI
The European Network for Academic Integrity (ENAI) is an association gathering educational institutions and individuals interested in maintaining and promoting academic integrity.
ENAI is the biggest academic integrity network in Europe and it belongs to key players in academic integrity worldwide. ENAI is in touch with the experts in the field and cooperate with European and international organizations oriented toward academic and research integrity. ENAI has built and provides valuable free resources such as the Glossary on Academic Integrity or the database of educational materials. ENAI is the organizer of the European Conference on Ethics and Integrity in Academia. ENAI supports victims of academic integrity misconduct through the Victim Support Portal.

June 2026. Prof. Dr. Jelena Titko, Vice-rector for Research of the EKA, participated in Wellbeing Series Session 4: “Supporting Student Wellbeing Without Lowering Standards” - an online workshop for lecturers and researchers organised by the ENAI in cooperation with Studiosity. The workshop addressed the connection between wellbeing and academic integrity in higher education, focusing on how to maintain academic standards while supporting a positive learning environment. 2025. June 16-19. Researchers of EKA Scientific Institution, PhD., assoc. prof. Kristīne Užule and Mg. Anna Strazda participated in the European Conference on Ethics and Integrity in Academia, which was held in Uppsala, Sweden.
They presented reports “Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity Concepts in Internal Regulatory Documents of Higher Education Institutions in Latvia” (authors K. Užule, J. Dehtjare, A. Strazda) and “Perception of Research Integrity by Researchers in Higher Education Institutions: Case of Latvia” (authors A. Strazda, J. Titko, J. Budanceva).
